SOME OF THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE CENTRE SINCE ITS INCEPTION
- More than 15 rural youth have benefitted from its training workshop on Tips for Successful Business Management.
- More than 10 beneficiaries of its Small Business Support Scheme (SBSS) have been economically empowered through the establishment of some small enterprises such as Iru Production, Fufu Production, Farming, Milling etc.
- More than 7 of its beneficiaries of its 75 hives capacity Apiary Farms have been empowered through their participation in Honey Production and Marketing.
- Moral values of many secondary schools students have been built through organized talks and distribution of the Centre’s book entitled: Ethical Revolution among Nigerian Youth in Schools and Colleges.
- Capacity of more than 120 rural youths was built in the areas of computer appreciation and rural entrepreneurship – Bee keeping, Snail rearing and Fish farming through their participation in a 2-day capacity building workshop organized in collaboration with Cooperative Information Network (COPINE) an Agency of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology based in the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, to mark the 2010 International Youth Day Celebration.
